Flamenco in Madrid in September 2026: Café Ziryab Programme
September arrives in Madrid to the sound of flamenco guitar, powerful footwork and voices that seem to stop time. Throughout the month, the stage at Tablao Flamenco Café Ziryab will welcome flamenco dancers, singers and guitarists with different styles, backgrounds and artistic personalities.
If you are looking for an authentic flamenco show in Madrid, in an intimate setting away from large tourist productions, Café Ziryab gives you the opportunity to experience every breath, every heel strike and every silence just a few metres from the performers.

September Showtimes
- September 2–13: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8:30 pm; Saturday and Sunday at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
- From September 14: there will also be a Monday performance at 8:30 pm, as well as additional 6:30 pm shows on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
- Saturdays and Sundays: performances will continue at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
September 2–6: Strength, Elegance and Flamenco Rhythm
The first week begins with Elena Barajas, a flamenco dancer who combines traditional flamenco with strength, elegance and a highly personal stage presence. Joining her will be Maximiliano Rebman, a flamenco dancer and teacher with extensive artistic and teaching experience in both Spain and Japan.
The singing of Diego Amador will bring depth and personality to the ensemble, while José Hernández will accompany the performance with elegant and precise guitar playing, always sensitive to both the dance and the singing.
September 9–13: Flamenco from Madrid with Character
Maximiliano Rebman will share the stage with Sarini Nieto on September 9 and with Tamar González from September 10 to 13.
Born in Madrid, Tamar began studying dance at an early age and has performed with companies including those of Paco Romero, Rafael Aguilar and Paco Peña.
On vocals will be Israel Paz, a Madrid-born flamenco singer with an extensive career and recordings including Del Manzanares al Guadalquivir and Corazón Flamenco.
The guitar accompaniment will be provided by Paco Cruz, known for his imaginative, delicate playing and his ability to bring subtle nuances to every performance.
September 14–20: Emotion and Connection on Stage
The third week brings together Sarini Nieto and Maximiliano Rebman, two flamenco dancers with a deep understanding of the language of the tablao and the essential role that improvisation plays in live flamenco.
Sarini completed her studies at the Madrid Conservatory of Spanish Dance and continued her training at renowned flamenco institutions including Fundación Casa Patas.
The voice of Desiré Paredes will bring sensitivity, personality and a contemporary perspective to the singing.
On guitar will be Daniel Yagüe, a guitarist, composer and musical director with extensive experience collaborating with flamenco companies, artists and cultural institutions.
September 21–27: A Month-End Full of Contrasts
Maximiliano Rebman and Sarini Nieto return to the dance, with a special appearance by Daniela Gallardo on September 25 and 26.
A Chilean flamenco dancer based in Madrid, Daniela also works as an actress and visual artist, bringing this multidisciplinary sensitivity to the way she approaches movement and flamenco.
The singing will alternate between Emilio Gabarre, an artist with extensive experience performing in Madrid’s flamenco tablaos, and Ángel de Toro, whose voice brings character and emotion to his performances.
They will be accompanied by Antonio Españadero, a guitarist with a classical flamenco style, an exceptional sense of rhythm and extensive experience accompanying both singers and dancers.
An Intimate Flamenco Tablao in Madrid
Café Ziryab is located at Paseo de la Esperanza, 17, close to Acacias Metro station and within easy reach of Embajadores.
Its intimate, limited-capacity venue allows audiences to watch the dancers, hear the singers and appreciate every detail of the flamenco guitar from just a few metres away.
